Students who attain lifetime status in National Honor Society and/or California Scholarship Federation receive the following:

- Cords to wear with their cap and gown at graduation. NHS is recognized by a maroon cord, CSF is recognized by a Gold cord
In order to earn lifetime status, students must:
- National Honor Society: earn membership for at least 5 semesters out of the possible 8 semesters of grades 9-12. At least one of these 5 semesters must be during the 12th grade year.
- California Scholarship Federation: earn membership for at least 4 semesters out of the possible 6 semesters of grades 10-12. At least one of these 4 semesters must be during the 12th grade year.
